Accessibility Statement
Last updated: May 2026Rokstars Global HRM is committed to digital accessibility. We believe that every person deserves equal access to information and services regardless of ability. This is not just a compliance checkbox for us. It is part of who we are and who we serve.
Our Commitment
Rokstars serves clients in both Canada and the United States. We work to ensure our website and digital tools meet or exceed the standards set by the following frameworks and legislation:
- Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA -- the international standard for digital accessibility established by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C)
- Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) -- Ontario legislation requiring accessible customer service, information, and employment practices
- Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) -- US federal civil rights law covering access to public accommodations including websites and digital services
Continuous Auditing with People with Disabilities
We do not rely on automated tools alone. Our accessibility practice includes ongoing review and testing by people who use assistive technologies in their daily lives, including screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, and other adaptive tools. This lived-experience testing is central to how we identify and resolve real barriers rather than technical ones on paper only.
Accessibility audits are conducted on a rolling basis whenever significant content or functionality changes are made to the site.
What We Have Done
- Provided a skip to main content link for keyboard and screen reader users
- Used semantic HTML landmarks including nav, main, and footer so users can navigate by region
- Ensured all form fields have properly associated labels and inline error messages
- Provided descriptive alt text for all images
- Designed for full keyboard navigation including all interactive elements, modals, and quiz flows
- Used sufficient colour contrast across body text, headings, and interactive elements to meet WCAG 2.1 AA minimums
- Added ARIA roles, live regions, and focus management to dynamic content including the quiz results and modal dialogs
- Implemented a focus trap and Escape key handler in the quiz overlay so screen reader users are not lost in the page
- Ensured all lists are marked up with proper semantic HTML so they are announced correctly by screen readers
Known Limitations
The Zenna platform previewed on the homepage is our own proprietary recruiting and HR concierge system, built with accessibility as a core requirement from the ground up. While we design and test Zenna with the same WCAG 2.1 AA standards applied here, embedded iframe content can present additional complexity for some assistive technologies and we may not catch every edge case. If you encounter a barrier within the Zenna preview or the full platform, we want to know about it.
If you encounter any barriers or content that is not accessible to you, please contact us directly. Your feedback is taken seriously and helps us prioritise improvements.
